Dear HUB Community,
Happy 2013! We made it, as we knew we would, to see the dawn of a more consciously connected world - with those of us on this path for a very long time, leading the way. We are praying for your health, joy and prosperity in 2013 and wanted to provide you an update on the HUB LLC status as well as our impact the last two years since we aligned with WorldVentures, and what the future of our community may look like.
Through the Manifest Foundation (the non profit started by founders of WorldVentures) which I was the Executive Director of for the last two years, HUB was able to see a continuation and expansion of some of the work it started. With great joy, we were able to see
Youth Action International funded to nearly the same amount as it was as a partner of HUB in 2012! A huge blessing to Kimmie Weeks, and it supported his sustainable programs in Monrovia and Grand Bassa for Women and Youth providing empowerment, vocational training and Micro-Loans to 2500 women and youth a year! We also were able to support over 10,000 children to receive an early childhood education. Perhaps most exciting is that we were able to unify two great HUB partnerships into a fabulous collaboration - YAI and Jack Rose (formerly of Raincatcher, now with
WavesforWater) and Manifest Foundation have provided over 6000 children and families with a permanent clean water, life-saving solution through two separate VolunTour trips to Liberia last year, and another planned in February 2013 that will bring water to over 50,000!
We also were able to support Louise Hogarth's
Orphan Bracelet campaign, selling and manufacturing specially designed WorldVentures Do Ubuntu bracelets that have been hits at all the WorldVentures main events, supporting hundreds of children and women living with HIV AIDS in South Africa.
And, through VolunTourism, we were able to take a group of 17 back to Grace Orphanage in Kenya, where we provided a Raincatcher, and two other water solutions, and built a chicken coop that will help to not only give food and clean water to over 150 children but will provide a sustainable income source to the Orphanage in a short time!
After two years, of doing my best to have found a "home" for the HUB LLC to have the opportunity to generate income, and sustain our impact in the world to impoverished children and families, I am now stepping down as Executive Director of Manifest Foundation. It is time for me to step into the continued development of my own personal mission: to inspire and lead people to discover and live as the delicious magic they truly are. To that end, I'll be completing my next book and reconnecting with my peers in Transformational Leadership in the development of workshops and events worldwide that speak to what my soul is personally calling me to pursue. I remain part of the WorldVentures community as a Independent Representative, and consultant to the company.
