Herbalife 24 Fit Dvd

Herbalife24Fit is designed to build your fitness in an effective and  sustainable way. This home-fitness system utilizes periodization principles to systematically vary exercises and intensity, helping to achieve maximum physical adaptation.  This 24-week, 13- DVD workout program is led by top fitness experts and developed by Herbalife with the renowned physical therapist Robert Forster. The workouts are co hosted by coaches Tom Holland and Samantha Clayton.
Tom Holland, Exercise physiologist: "Many people say that, as they age, they eat and exercise the same amount but still gain weight. One of the main causes of this is loss of muscle mass. The more muscle mass you have, the more calories you burn. Strength training preserves and even increases muscle mass, keeping metabolism at a high level. Genetically, women have less muscle than men, and as a woman ages, the preservation of lean muscle becomes vital" Hit a weight plateau? Step up your strength training. It builds muscle & increases your metabolic rate. To help preserve muscle mass, aim for at least 20 grams of protein at every meal.
The 24 Fit Workout includes flexibility and posture exercises and metabolic and strength training workouts.

Thanks Ted, Chery! This is a great Dvd set. People always forget that you dont always have to go all out when your first starting or getting back into it, and when your older it's good to really focus on the stabilizer muscles. Get these strong and they will decrease any injuries that are commn with weightlifting/exercising. (Rotator cuff, the hip flexors, ligaments and joints)
